I had a good start and went through several books, finishing one of them. However, I didn't read much overall.

Absolutely, and I'll be doing the post-readathon lap till the next Sunday.

Great! I never plan anything so it is very relaxing and surprising

Lolita | 60 comments Overall, my readathon went well. And yes, I will be continuing to read today. I was able to read for a total of 11 hours and finished one book, A Day Off by Storm Jameson, and 82% of my second book, Locus Solus by Raymond Roussel. This would be my last readathon this year, looking forward for ones next year.

I would like to thank all the moderators and co-moderators for making this readathon possible. Special shout-out goes to Jamie. Hope to see again in one of the future readathons. We will all miss you. And good luck on all your future endeavors.

Excellent. I did more physical reading than normal. Enjoyed all the books. Going to keep it to series reading mainly from now on as that seems to work better for me.

Only bad thing was stomach issues from eating too much, maybe too much greasy stuff, so past few hours were uncomfortable

2. Are you continuing to read for the rest of the weekend?

Yes, I did Friday three hours, most of the day and evening Saturday. Today on Sunday have plans with friends but want to do more reading when home, and switch to more audio to get some projects done as well.

3. How many books have you read in this Readathon? How many have you finished? Which was your favorite?

I finished three, read 30% of another, and for audio got to 60ish percent that I'll finish today with the Perry Mason read. Favorite was probably The Mermaid’s Bubble Lounge

4. Do you plan to do other reading events or readathons between now and October 18th (our next Readathon)?

Yeah I do random ones on Discord and I do team challenges on GR - however, none are as huge as Deweys

5. Have you added any tempting books to your TBR during this Readathon?

I added one from others threads to read later: The Good Lie

I loved this one, I felt like it was a good amount of reading, being on here, posting photos, editing etc. I had lots of fun. :)
Next time I will maybe do the same thing, just maybe try to sleep less. :D

2. Are you continuing to read for the rest of the weekend?
Yes, I have one more book to finish.

3. How many books have you read in this Readathon? How many have you finished? Which was your favorite?
6 read from, 5 finished, 9 were initially on my tbr. But I am very happy with the results overall.
My favorites were Witch Hat Atelier, Vol. 1 and The Voice of My Mind.

4. Do you plan to do other reading events or readathons between now and October 18th (our next Readathon)?
Honestly, not Dewey's. For me this readathon only works in autumn, don't know why. But Dewey's in October is my sacred time.

5. Have you added any tempting books to your TBR during this Readathon?
No, I stuck only to my tbr. :)

Sonya | 33 comments 1) I finished one book, which was a re-read, but still I was excited to do that as I am going to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Wednesday and wanted to have the re-read finished by then. One of my goals is to have a hotel booked for these readathons or have my library shed built. So fingers crossed I can do a getaway for the next readathon.
2) I will be reading the rest of the weekend as I didn't get to do a consecutive 24 hours of reading.
3) 1 book finished but I did switch between 2 books.
4) I do not plan to do any other reading events between now and the next readathon.
5) I have added one book to my TBR list.

Cathy (cathepsut) | 645 comments 1. How did your Readathon go overall? What were the highlights for you? Disappointments? Things you might do differently next time?

Good! Not to switch on the TV at all was a good decision. Keeping up with notifications and hourly discussions meant that I spent quite some time online instead of reading. But maybe that is the charm of a readathon.

2. Are you continuing to read for the rest of the weekend?

I needed to do a little housekeeping and then went out to meet a friend, which resulted in dinner at the Balkan restaurant across the street. Watching some TV now. I do want to finish my audiobook though—maybe tomorrow…

3. How many books have you read in this Readathon? How many have you finished? Which was your favorite?

I mainly read one ebook and one audiobook. I finished neither, but I made good progress. I am pleased with what I read.

4. Do you plan to do other reading events or readathons between now and October 18th (our next Readathon)?

🤔 Do you mean April? Yes, probably.

5. Have you added any tempting books to your TBR during this Readathon?

I try not to add anything. My shelf is overflowing…

Lena (nlgmcr69) | 235 comments 1. How did your Readathon go overall? What were the highlights for you? Disappointments? Things you might do differently next time? I didn't get as much reading done as I would have liked. I think next time I am going to be more committed to not getting distracted by others (in person and online) and spending more time reading.

2. Are you continuing to read for the rest of the weekend? Yes, I plan to spend today finishing up some of the reading I started during the read-a-thon.

3. How many books have you read in this Readathon? How many have you finished? Which was your favorite? I read from These Memories Do Not Belong to Us, From Ladle to Grave, The Library of Lost Dollhouses, and George Falls Through Time; however, the only 1 I finished was These Memories Do Not Belong to Us

4. Do you plan to do other reading events or readathons between now and October 18th (our next Readathon)? Yes, I participate in several different types of read-a-thons throughout the year.

5. Have you added any tempting books to your TBR during this Readathon? Yes, there were several I saw on others TBR piles that I ended up adding to mine.
