maybe a recommendation, different topic genres? Like, you could have sections for serial killers, cults, cold cases, missing cases, etc.
i love the anthill kids those are good ideas! i'll make some topics and see what the other mods say about the folders!
I will! I may have to do some research on each one again but those are some of the cases I've been most interested in

Joe methany! The Court of Appeals was unanimous in overturning the death sentence of Joe Roy Metheny, a Baltimore man who police say killed as many 10 people ...
After his wife and child left him in 1994, Joe Metheny embarked on a revenge spree in which he killed 13 people, though police have only ...
Albert Fish: Active during the early 20th century, Fish was an American serial killer, child molester, and cannibal. He would lure young children, primarily from marginalized communities, with false promises before killing and cannibalizing them. He was eventually caught after sending a taunting letter detailing his crimes to the family of one of his victims.Andrei Chikatilo: Known as the "Butcher of Rostov," this Soviet serial killer was active between 1978 and 1990. He confessed to murdering, mutilating, and cannibalizing at least 52 women and children.
Issei Sagawa: This Japanese murderer killed and cannibalized a Dutch student in Paris in 1981. Despite his confession, Sagawa was declared legally insane in France and deported to Japan. Citing a lack of evidence, Japanese authorities were unable to legally detain him, and he was released from a mental institution. Sagawa later gained a degree of celebrity in Japan.
Armin Meiwes: The "Rotenburg Cannibal" gained notoriety for killing and eating a man he met online. The victim had responded to Meiwes' online advertisement seeking a voluntary victim to be killed and eaten. German authorities found Meiwes guilty of murder.
I’ve heard of Albert Fish. What sort of person wants to be a voluntary victim of cannibalism?!!! That’s as mentally unstable as the killer!

Personally I don’t think the robbery is true crime but I can bring it up to the other mods just in case

The Dunbar Case? We started reading some stuff about it in ELA and it seems SUPER interesting but also confusing and a bit weird

Could we add the 1994 case of Alison Botha and the mysterious death of Elisa Lam at the Cecil Hotel?
Ohh I love that idea! I'm a little behind on adding cases, but I will be sure to add them when I can!
Thank you so much for the offer! As of this moment we don't need another mod, but I'll send a broadcast if we ever need another person and you can apply for the position!
Ed Gein:Edward Theodore Gein (August 27, 1906 – July 26, 1984), also known as the Butcher of Plainfield and the Plainfield Ghoul, was an American murderer, serial killer, and body snatcher. His crimes, committed around his hometown of Plainfield, Wisconsin, gathered widespread notoriety in 1957 after authorities discovered that he stole corpses from local graveyards and fashioned keepsakes from their bones and skin. He also confessed to killing two women: tavern owner Mary Hogan in 1954 and hardware store owner Bernice Worden in 1957.
Gein was initially found unfit to stand trial and confined to a mental health facility. By 1968 he was judged competent to stand trial. He was found guilty of the murder of Worden, but was found legally insane and thus was remanded to a psychiatric institution.

Victim F:
Denise Huskins and Aaron Quinn were awoken from sleep when a group of armed men bound them and abducted Denise. Aaron called the police and told them what happened, but the police thought his story was unbelievable and they suspected Aaron killed Denise. Later when Denise was let go, the police thought the whole kidnapping was staged and blamed the entire event on Aaron and Denise. This case shows the abuse by law enforcement and corruption in the criminal justice system.
I recently got a book about this so I thought it would be fun to recommend it :)
