Eclipse put her head down, thinking of what cyan said was correct. But then she shot her head back up and smiled.“Well, I’m a Nightwing! And I haven’t seen any other Dragons from different tribes before I got here. What tribe are you? Wait! Let me guess!”
She walked up closer to Cyan and inspected her scales, Then jolted back to her scrolls as she picked one up and quickly opened it, Looking at it, Then back to her.
“You’re a… Seawing!” She guessed. “Right?”
Eclipse’s eyes widened in amazement. She didn’t even have to read more from her scroll to know.“Oh my goodness! Your part Rainwing! That’s amazing!” She squeaked.
“So tell me, can you breathe under water? Do you have web talons? Can you spit venom? Can you glow in the dark? Am I asking too many questions?” Eclipse’s voice trailed off awkwardly. “Sorry, I just never see dragons from other tribes, other than Nightwings of course.”
Eclipse chuckled. She was happy she answered her questions, even the one stating she was asking too many. and she was happy to be in the same Winglet with her.
“Sooooooooo how long have you been here and Jade mountain academy? Or is it your first day like mine?” She asked.
“OH MOONS!” eclipse exclaimed. “You’re a princess, Cyan! You have to tell your mom! You’ll be able to live in a palace!” Eclipse dreamed of what it would be like to be a princess.
Eclipse was still stunned of the realization of Cyan’s mother. She turned and saw a Skywing who had walked into the room, looking a little awkward.“Hi!” She smiled. “I’m Eclipselight, but you can call me eclipse.”
Eclipse hopped into the Diamond winglet. When she finally got to her bed, she dropped all the scrolls she was carrying and sighed seeing them all scattered on the floor. She took them and organized them on her shelf. When she finished, she laid on her cushioned bed, stretching her wings. Eclipse saw at the corner of her eye was shiny dark purple obsidian. She lifted it up and in her talon was a pendant, with silver chain and a dark jewel.
Eclipse scoffed. She shoved it back under the cushions and lay her head down on her talons, her eyes flickering open and closed as she finally fell asleep, covering herself in her wings.
Eclipse placed the egg onto a cushion she brought from home, trying her best to keep it warm. She examined the egg and looked through one of her scrolls to find out what egg it was. It seemed like an icewing, but it was a little different…
it finally hatched sending a small white and icy blue dragonet flopping onto the floor his wing buds twitching slightly
“Oh my…,” Eclipse was shaking with excitement. She didn’t know much about dragon eggs, but she still gently stroked it on its head.“You’re actually very cute!” She whispered. It was odd, he didn’t look like a complete icewing. And he had bits of fur on his scales.
(It is okay if she names him. I’ll just name him polar)
“Aww!” She lifted him up. “Wait… you need a name.” She told it. “What’s a traditional Icewing name? Maybe… Polar! Huh! It’s seems cute.”
(Yea)“Okay, it’s settled!” She said happily. She looked around her and but the icewing back on the cushion.
“Well, what to do… I don’t know, maybe I should tell someone. Like Cyan or Conch or even Chandler.”
Eclipse heard tiny footsteps walked into her winglet. She turned to see Chandler.“Oh hi!!” She said, trying to sound innocent as she tucked the hatchling in her wings.
“What are you doing here?”

“Hi! Im Eclipselight, but you can just call me Eclipse!” She said. Eclipse was over joy that she finally was able to meet dragons from other tribes.
