This challenge will only take place during the months of November and December. That means, books will be accepted from November 1st to December 31st. Winners will be announced on January 1st.
Since this is a page count challenge, it doesn't matter if you started a book before or after the challenge. You will only count the pages that you read once the challenge has started.
When signing up, please mention the number of books you plan on reading for the month of November and December. This number will be easier for me to make teams match up a bit more evenly.
For example,

**You will not be penalized if you go over or under your number.**

Page Points:
1 - 50 pages → 0.25 pts
51 - 99 pages → 0.5 pts
100 - 149 pages → 1 pt
150 - 249 pages → 2 pts
250 - 349 pages → 3 pts
350 - 449 pages → 4 pts
450 - 549 pages → 5 pts
550 - 649 pages → 6 pts
650 - 749 pages → 7 pts
750 - 849 pages → 8 pts
850 - 949 pages → 9 pts
950+ pages → 10 pts
Buddy Reads will DOUBLE your points.
BOTM will TRIPLE your points.
Extra Bonus Points:
*One point for every book read that fits the book or series in any space on the board. For example, if you read a book from the Divergent series, you will get a bonus point whether or not you are on that current space.

Challenge Rules:
All members will be split into teams evenly. At the start of the challenge, one of the mods will “roll” the dice for your team (using random.org). The space your team lands on will be based off of a series and there will be a specific number of pages that need to be ‘paid’ in order for your team to move on from that space. The number of pages that is due is at the bottom of the space on the Pageopoly board above.
Teams will continuously read books to bank pages read. And pages for books completed, reviewed, and added to the teams review thread will take away from the amount of pages that are due to move your team off of that space.
For example:
Team 1 has four members. They landed on the Mortal Instrument space. This space requires 3,000 pages to be paid in order to advance.
Member 1 reads Throne of Glass which has 406 pages.
Member 2 reads Vampire Academy which has 332 pages.
Member 3 reads The Eye of Minds which has 308 pages.
Member 4 reads Heartless which is 453 pages.

308 +
453 =
1499
Because this team turned in 1,499 pages in a space that requires 3,000 the team still owes 1,501 pages.
Had this team landed on the Murderbot Diaries space which only requires 1,500 pages to advance they would only owe 1 page before rolling and moving to a new space.

Volunteer for Tribute: - using a wheel decide, I will spin and give the team whatever "card" it lands on. Cards can give or take away points from your team or grant another team free points. I will spin another wheel decide to see which team will receive the points. Here are the card options:
You stumble upon a signed copy of your favorite book at a thrift store. Gain 8 points.
Your library hold comes in early. Gain 3 points.
You finish a book in one sitting. Gain 5 points.
You recommend a book and your friends loves it. Gain 4 points.
You finally organize your bookshelf by color. Gain 2 points.
You read past midnight and feel amazing. Gain 1 point.
You discover a new favorite author. Gain 6 points.
You win a bookish giveaway online. Gain 7 points.
You find a forgotten gift card and spend it on books. Gain 5 points.
You spill coffee on your current read. Lose 4 points.
You accidentally spoil the ending for someone. Lose 3 points.
Your e-reader dies mid-chapter and you forgot your charger. Lose 2 points.
You lend a book and it never returns. Lose 5 points.
You misplace your annotated copy. Lose 6 points.
You drop your book in the bath. Lose 10 points.
You start a book and realize it’s the sequel. Lose 2 points.
You DNF three books in a row. Lose 4 points.
You get a paper cut from a hardcover. Lose 1 point.
You join a spontaneous buddy read. Gain 3 points.
You dress up as a book character for fun. Gain 4 points.
You write fanfiction based on your current read. Gain 2 points.
You dream about a book plot and it makes sense. Gain 1 point.
You accidentally buy the same book twice. Lose 2 points.
You start five books at once. Lose 2 points.
You host a mini book club with your pet(s). Gain 1 point.
You get into a heated debate over a fictional character. Gain 3 points.
You rearrange your TBR and feel powerful. Gain 2 points.
You accidentally read the last page first. Lost 5 points.
You read a book that emotionally wrecks you for days. Gain 5 points.
You bring a book to a date and they ask if it’s more interesting than them. Lose 5 points.
You misplace you library card and can’t check out your holds. Lose 4 points.
You’re halfway through a book and realize it’s part of a cursed love triangle. You hate love triangles. Lose 3 points.
Free Pages: - Free 500 pages awarded to the team that lands on this space.
Just browsing: - Free space. Roll again.
In the bookstore: - ‘Roll’ the dice three times to try for doubles (mods will use random.org for these rolls) If no doubles, 2,000 pages are due to get out of jail. If doubles are rolled, continue with a new roll and advance that many spaces.
Go to the bookstore: - Go straight to the bookstore and follow instructions for getting out of the bookstore.
Book Box Tax Due! - Pay 5 points.
Get a Book Boyfriend/Girlfriend! - Gain 5 points.
GO: - Free 5 points for your team’s point total for passing GO.
