Fall is in the air. Winter is coming. Let us read a book on our readers TBR list. I look forward to seeing the nominations.

Here is a list of the previous books we have read in this group to make sure your nomination has not been a previous Book of the Month:

https://www.goodreads.com/group/books...

Rules
1. One nomination per person.
2. Poll will be set up when we reach 6 valid nominations.
3. Nominations should have been first published earlier than June 1975.
4. It would be great if you could share why you want to read this book.
5. To get a wider variety of selections, the nominations may be limited to one book per author.

Enjoy Reading,
La Tonya 📚

Kristin Flor | 12 comments I’m nominating Cheaper By the Dozen by Frank Gilbreth Jr. and Ernestine Gilbreth Carey. I joined Goodreads back on January 2, 2018 and this has been the best book logging app ever. I use it every day to update my books. Cheaper By the Dozen is the oldest and first book I ever put on Goodreads on my “want to read” list. While I currently have 2,248 books on my want to read list, this book has been on it the longest. I feel if it’s chosen it will finally have its “right of passage” to finally step off that want to read list and join the read list. Its fate is ultimately in your hands.

cris (crxsgtz) | 1 comments The autumn of the patriarch by Gabriel García Márquez, because it is one of my favorite authors and I've been wanting to read this for a long time.

Gordana (gordanatodorovic) | 2 comments Uncle Tom’s Cabin

I nominate Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe.
This book has been on my TBR list for a while.

I'm starting to read and learn more about that time period and the abolitionist movement.
