38. A book that's part of a series

I’ll probably read the last book in Richard Osman’s The Thursday Murder club series. Might as well finish it!
I'll probably read the next in the In Death series, just not sure where I'll be because I may read a few this year. and maybe: Things I Don't Want to Know
and Llama Llama Loves to Read
My trouble with series books is I always end up using them for other prompts, thinking I'll surely read another series for the series prompt. Which I do. Which I use for another prompt LOL.These are the series I keep up with that have books publishing next year (so far):
Wayward Children: Through Gates of Garnet and Gold
The Singing Hills Cycle: A Long and Speaking Silence
The Murderbot Diaries: Platform Decay
And I'm hoping for another new Sworn Soldier; I'm currently reading What Stalks the Deep.
Planning two from old faithful series:Stone and Sky [ Rivers of London ] and There Will Be Bodies [Flavia Albia]
New series I want to try - Historical Mystery set in Stalinist Soviet Russia -- Punishment of a Hunter and Death of the Red Rider by Yulia Yakovleva
I read so many series that this was actually a difficult prompt to fill - too much choice is worse for me than not much choice! I've gone for Going Rogue by Janet Evanovich. I try and read at least one Stephanie Plum a year and I struggled to find any other prompts that this would fit, so it was the obvious answer to my "too many books" problem.
I always enjoy this prompt because I seem to ALWAYS have multiple series going! :) This year I am going to read Blackout by Connie Willis
I'm going to carry on with John Boyne's amazing series (which I'm trying very hard to savour slowly) and read Fire

The beautiful thing about this prompt is that if you are someone who has no unfinished series to read (magic!), you can also use this prompt to start a new series. Maybe even tie it into the frontlist/backlist prompts as well for a trifecta!
