Angelika Regossi | 4 comments Where do you think the love is stronger: in dictatorship or democratic societies?

Charissa Wilkinson (lilmizflashythang) | 430 comments That depends on the type of love. In dictatorships, you're more likely to find the commitment love. The love where you are both marrying for convenience, not necessarily for the fluttery feeling in your heart. Yet marriages of convenience can be rather strong marriages.

In democracies, you get a lot more marriages starting from the fluttery feeling. Those marriages can be strong, yet you still need to find the reasons to stay married. Sometimes you need to remember why you fell in love in the first place.

Not sure type of society necessarily influences love’s “strength” for whatever it means - more lasting, passionate, expressive?
