my math teacher started a discord group chat with him and all his students...i have no clue why he thought that was a good idea

he literally had to make a new rule "no i will not accept your friend request"

tbh I like math when ite complicated and has like solid formulas for everything and its logical but when its boring and too easy or not logical I hate it sm

Also anyone in Geometry: please please please help me understand the point of constructions. I know how to do them, but literally they made up like 1/3 of the DPMA (which if u don't know what that is, it's basically progress monitoring every like month or two) and I mean I never see the point of any math but this especially, when in the absolute world will I ever need to find an angle bisector or a perpendicular line from a point not on the line, ESPECIALLY with computers, oh I don't know, EXISTING??!!!!!

Like in grade 7 the math was so easy and boring that it was almost hard so to prevent boredom i would write my own complicated math questions and solve them…

i have a love hate relationship with math
i feel so smart and happy when i do a logic problem or do a geo problem that seemed hard at first but using like formulas and realizing i actually understand it is great
but also i lowk hate it sometimes bc its tedious and boring

FR 😭 like math can be fun sometimes, but other times it seems like teachers are hell-bent on making it as frustrating as possible

Math needs to solve it's own problems I already have enough
