Yo crecí hablando español (mi madre es panameña), pero yo creo que la cosa más difícil es la gramática. Yo estoy en español I en mi escuela (estoy en décimo grado).

¿alguien tiene algún consejo para aprender verbos irregulares? son muyyyyy difíciles (sry if there are grammar mistakes guys 😭)
I think what I struggle with sometimes is finding out the gender of certain words. Like wdym "mano" is feminine 😭

¿En qué estás teniendo problemas específicamente?
¿como.. conjugar el infinitivo? es difícil saber dónde hay que añadir las letras adicionales. does that make sense?

sofia ♡ wrote: "¿como.. conjugar el infinitivo? es difícil saber dónde hay que añadir las letras adicionales. does that make sense?"So in Spanish, we have three types of verbs. (-ir, -er, -ar)
So to conjugate you take of those things (-ir, -er, -ar) and add the following based on the person:
For -AR verbs (e.g., hablar - to speak):
Yo: -o (hablo)
Tú: -as (hablas)
Él/Ella/Usted: -a (habla)
Nosotros/as: -amos (hablamos)
Vosotros/as: -áis (habláis)
Ellos/Ellas/Ustedes: -an (hablan)
For -ER verbs (e.g., comer - to eat):
Yo: -o (como)
Tú: -es (comes)
Él/Ella/Usted: -e (come)
Nosotros/as: -emos (comemos)
Vosotros/as: -éis (coméis)
Ellos/Ellas/Ustedes: -en (comen)
For -IR verbs (e.g., vivir - to live):
Yo: -o (vivo)
Tú: -es (vives)
Él/Ella/Usted: -e (vive)
Nosotros/as: -imos (vivimos)
Vosotros/as: -ís (vivís)
Ellos/Ellas/Ustedes: -en (viven)
I hope that helps!
We’re learning about past tense verb endings, and I mostly get it, and I did really good on the test, but still. CONFUSING!!
