I haven't started the book yet, but I am hoping to get to it soonish! Great that you are liking it so far at least!

I finished it this morning, loved the story. Very heartwarming relationship between Tom and Maggie. Tom's dad on the other hand...(view spoiler)[I did not like Tom's dad, horrible parent, but by the end of the story he was at least trying to do better. I still didn't like him. (hide spoiler)]

I haven't read the spoiler, but I'm excited since it sounds cute and nice!!

I finished the book a while ago, but I've been busy, so sorry for the late check in!

I actually totally agree with your opinion on the book!

I loved Tom and Maggie and their growing relationship, but I found Tom's dad despicable. He just made me sad. I also enjoyed the plot twist (view spoiler)[ when Tom found out that Maggie had been an alcoholic and lost her son over it (hide spoiler)]. Not that I loved the plot twist, but I did not see it coming, and I love when authors surprise me like that! I also found it super sweet how (view spoiler)[ Tom ended up forgiving Maggie, and how River's (Maggie's son) wife ended up sending another letter to Maggie and giving her some clarity and finality (hide spoiler)].
It was a great book! It was sweet, cute and fun, but it had some deeper themes to make it realistic as well!
