Play Harder 4th Quarter Prompt Swap
The prompt swap starts tomorrow, but here's a heads up . . .Olivermagnus, you will be up first and selecting a number between 1 and 9.Tomorrow, please.
WooHoo! So looking forward to this! I am eager to see not just what others have offered up for me to pick, but also who ends up with the option I tossed into the swap!I need to warn all: I'm traveling to Santa Fe on Wednesday, Oct. 29th where I will be until Nov. 4th. While the 2 hours behind the East Coast should not be much of a problem, any more than my usual work day meetings and such would cause delays in responding, I will be travelling most of the day on 29th, Wed. I apologize in advance for any delays that are caused by me if my name is pulled on that day.
You can also be pretty confident that I will steal too (unless the one I submitted is only option). I love stirring it up and keeping it moving!

I just wanted to say for Shelley, that I have a similar prompt on my fourth swap list now, except its with the two last names. Its not hard to find, but its 13 books instead of 12, which so late in the year can feel daunting. But I thought that was a great prompt.

I will probably look at a book I am reading for either F2F book club or monthly tag and search for an author with same first name. You are right, same first name is easier than same last name.

If my name comes up in the morning, I may not respond for a couple of hours since I am taking my husband for hip replacement surgery (a good thing, he has needed it for months). Once he is settled, I will be able to get on wifi and actually plan to get some reading done since the surgery takes several hours. I see a couple items above that I may want to steal.

Absolutely, good luck to him on the surgery. If I remember correctly he had to put it off, so such a relief to finally have it.

At the first swap, I was picked last, the 2nd time I was first! But then people kept stealing from me so I opened about 5 different ones!

I'm pretty sure it was a typo as Theresa knows what I have as I stole it from her.
Now to see what is in Number 6 and maybe you can steal it from me, as you will be up next.

Here's how the prompt swap will work.
- The order of play will be generated at random.
- The first person will select a number from a list of numbers that I provide. Each number is affiliated with a prompt. I, then, announce which prompt the first person has opened.
- The second person can either steal the open prompt from the first person. Or, they may pick a new number and open a new prompt. If they steal the first person's prompt, then the first person has the opportunity to select a new number.
- The third person may then steal either one of the opened prompts, or select a new number to open.
We continue ad infinitum until all the prompts are opened and distributed.
Each person may possess a given prompt no more than three times total.
