I read a ton of sci-fi and fantasy so a big part of me would love to branch out but if either of those are something the group wants I can do that too.
I too read a _ton_ of scifi and fantasy... But, well, its halloween (maybe a tad late) so how about a "scary" story?Horror, dark fantasy, type thing? Something shortish to kick us off?
The Hollow Places
Lovecraft Country
The Library at Mount Char
some more?
I’ve read Mount Char and Lovecraft Country but haven’t read The Hollow Places. I’ve seen Tender is the Flesh mentioned a lot on Instagram and here on GoodReads and I’m curious about that one. I started We’ve Always Live In the Castle in the past but never finished it and I’ve heard that’s a good one.
I’m definitely down for some good horror recommendations.

I'm not a huge horror reader, but recently I read Strange Pictures and Strange Houses, both by Uketsu (Japanese horror Youtuber). Both read as kind of creepypasta-esque in that there are a lot of coincidences that push the plot along, but are quick and easy reads and are definitely entertaining. Pictures was better than Houses, in my opinion, though Houses was published more recently
