Loved this book so much. It was the perfect balance of story telling and informative. I was invested in the stories of Todd, Rafi, and Evie, and I kept guessing at Todd’s true intentions. It felt like we were meant to sympathize with him and grow attached to him as the main character, but I kept having reservations. After the ending, I see how that was probably an intentional effect. And even though I knew by the end that Todd was unreliable and somewhat evil, I was still shocked by the twist. Such a lovely book. I can’t wait to read more Richard Powers.
