Hi, everyone! I'm posting the 2026 themes a little early because I'm really excited about them. 😄 I decided to change things up quite a bit, so you'll see that several of these are new!

1. January: Hopeful Faves — 5-star predictions
2. February: Short Reads — novellas, short stories, graphic novels, manga, comics, and poetry
3. March: Banned Books — banned classics, recently challenged titles, etc.
4. April: Cozy & Sweet — romance, cozy fantasies, and cozy mysteries
5. May: Cover Colors — books with YOUR favorite color on the cover
6. June: Pride Month — LGBTQIAP2S+ authors
7. July: Swords & Spaceships — Sci-fi, dystopian, and fantasy
8. August: Series Smash — any books in a series
9. September: No Comfort Zone — books outside of your "norm"
10. October: Chills & Thrills — horror and thrillers
11. November: TBR Old-Timers — books that have been on your TBR longer than 2 years
12. December: Neglected TBRs — books you meant to read earlier in 2026

Series Smash is such a good one because yeah I definitely need to finish some of those series I've already started haha.

Love them! I'll probably skip July or just read a few paranormal romances, LOL. But I love the creative new themes! I also need to knock out some series.

that march challenge gotta be a fav! Not sure whether I will have one on hand by the time it rolls around but I think I will just go with whatever would enrage a certain privileged demographic the most :)
