Truth Or Dare

Someone got up from their chair and started to say something.

'I don't know..' She thought, debating with herself. 'I don't know most of people here.. Or what they would ask me.'
"Okay." Addy said nervously, despite her doubts.
Dustin held out his hands in a pleading motion. "But I--" Two flames appeared on his palms, and he grinned.
"If you could have anyone in the group's powers, other than Addy's, whose powers would you pick?" Dustin asked.

"Lark, truth or dare?" Conrad asked
Lark squeaked. "Um, Dustin?"
Dustin grinned. "Right, I'm the only one who won't kill you. Go ahead."
She bit her lip and then slapped him. He yelped. "You hit hard!"
"At least it wasn't Tarelle," Lark pointed out. Tarelle snorted.

"Your turn Lark." Addy said smiling

"Come on, we've seen that one!" Conrad said.
Conrad's wheelchair began to shake- then it stopped.
Dustin got hit in the head- with no explanation.
Lark got a little whisper in her ear. "Hello." A voice said. Then Addy reappeared, sitting in the chair.
"Any guesses on what that power was?" Addy said laughing.
Lark frowned and put a finger to her chin. "Hmm... let me think..."
Dustin laughed. "Invisibility, duh."
Dustin laughed. "Invisibility, duh."

"Talene, truth or dare." Addy said, hoping she got the girl's name right.
"Tarelle," Lark corrected.
Tarelle's expression didn't change. "Dare," Cade supplied, grinning at Tarelle.
Tarelle's expression didn't change. "Dare," Cade supplied, grinning at Tarelle.
Tarelle's face gained a hint of a smile as she stood up and left the room. A few minutes later, she came back in and sat down.
"What did you do?" Lark asked eagerly.
"Switched his shaving cream with whipped cream."
Dustin howled with laughter.
"What did you do?" Lark asked eagerly.
"Switched his shaving cream with whipped cream."
Dustin howled with laughter.
Cade was grinning, and not maliciously. Lark wiped her eyes. "Oh, goodness."
Tarelle looked around and her eyes landed on Conrad. "Conrad."
Tarelle looked around and her eyes landed on Conrad. "Conrad."

"Truth." Addy replied.
"Are there any powers you don't enjoy having?" Conrad asked her curiously.
Addy looked down. "Yes. A few of them." She said.
Conrad was curious, but didn't push the subject.
"Cade, truth or dare?" Addy asked courageously.

Cade looked thoughtful for a second. "Too many things," he murmured under his breath. Tarelle gave him a look. "I'm not taking my shirt off!" he snapped. She relaxed, and he rolled his eyes. Then, suddenly, he leaned over and smacked Tarelle. Lark yelped.
Tarelle didn't even flinch. "Not that unexpected," she said drily.
Cade turned and looked at the others. His eyes settled on Lark, and she squirmed. "Lark, truth or dare?"
Lark felt like she was going to start hyperventilating. Not good. "Umm, dare," she said hesitantly.
"I dare you to put ice cubes in someone's bed and make it so they won't freeze. I assume you can do that."
Lark nodded and hurried out of the room. She came back a minute later.
"Whose bed did you put them in?" Dustin asked.
She shook her head. "Not telling. Conrad, truth or dare?"

"You wouldn't, and it's not," Lark assured her. "Which person in this room has the worst past, that you've seen," she asked.

Addy blushed looking down.
"Or it could be Cade." Conrad stated. "But I think it's Addy."
Cade's face darkened, but he didn't say anything. He clearly didn't like the idea that Conrad could see his past. Lark mentally kicked herself for the question. "Your turn, Conrad," she said brightly, trying to lighten the mood.
