A book with a character who has curly hair

Oh, my! I have read quite a few books this year with characters with curly hair! If only I can remember specific ones...
As I recall, at least one character in The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet (Wayfarers #1) by Becky Chambers has curly hair...

This list might help!
Curly Haired Heroines of Romance

Pam | 1 comments "The Hollows" series by Kim Harrison features lead character Rachel Morgan, who has VERY curly hair. Lots of books in the series, best to start at the beginning.

Joanna G (joanna_g) | 377 comments What this made me think of immediately is the cover for Really Good, Actually: Really Good, Actually by Monica Heisey .

But it wasn't a book I loved and I don't remember if there was written description of her hair, so not sure why that's all I can think of.

I think this is one I'll probably come across randomly, as soon as there's a reference to curls in the plot, I'll count it, like I did for left-handed character this year.

A Thousand Threads by Neneh Cherry - this was shortlisted for the Womens Prize for Nonfiction in 2025. - Also, works for "Pop star" prompt.

Robert Plant: A Life by Paul Rees - Also, works for "Pop star" prompt.

I think Stephanie Plum in Janet Evanovich's books has curly hair? Can anyone confirm that?

That's a great book. Only thing is, it added a WHOLE lot of titles to my TBR list!

I'm uncertain about that. I think the way it is described, I viewed it as perhaps "wavy" but not curly? Though in the Wikipedia article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephan...) about Stephanie Plum it describes her as having curly hair!! So there ya go! I adored the most recent installment...Now or Never! Especially the very last paragraph!

Bea | 692 comments I am going to rely on those of you who know these things. It is not information that I retain as I read books, nor do many blurbs mention the hair of the characters.

good enough for me! Tricky Twenty-Two is the next book in that series for me, I'm going to pencil it in for this category

Sarah | 8 comments I've had Miriam Margolyes's memoir This Much is True in my Kindle for a while, so I think I'll read it for this prompt!
