Hii girls ! I just downloaded the app, so I'm not very familiar with it and I don't even know if this is the right place to write lol.
But anyway, I've heard a lot about Once Upon a Broken Heart and, being a fan of romantasy, I really really can’t wait to start reading it. But I've been told I should read Carval first. Is it really a good book, or is it boring and I'd be better off not wasting my time?

Personally I did not like Caraval at all. The characters were very naive and annoying but I really liked the world. Idk I’ve heard tha you’re either a Caraval or ouabh fan and I’m definitely a ouabh girly.
There are some characters from Caraval in ouabh, but you can still read it without knowing their story. Though if you do read Caraval, I hope u enjoy!!!

i think caraval is amazing and deserves more love. you can if you dont like it read ouabh alone but you should read carval

i just read caraval and i thought it was pretty good! the plot was really interesting and i loved the worldbuilding, the only thing i didn’t really enjoy was the romance. i had somewhat high hopes coming from stephanie garber, and it may get better in the next two books, but if you want to read it for the romance, it wasn’t my favorite. otherwise, good book!

Stephanie Garber created one of the best books i’ve read in a while. Caraval was an amazing escape from my boring life to game of magic, intruegue, espionauge, and love. Julian, who i fell in love with the second he was introduced, was amazingly developed, into what can only be describe as a total hearthrob. as well as being tall dark and handosme, he was imcreadibly sweet and thoughtful. Crimson made me die every tike he said it, and i al,sot cried in finale

to be completeley honest with you-i didnt like caraval. i read the once upon a broken heart series and i INHALED that book! the plot, the story, the tension, the romance of it? 10/10. the caraval's plot is interesting but i personally didnt like the sisters and i got lost in the whole game that they were playing. read the once upon a broken heart series first- and i f you can survive that book, you can survive anything :D

Yes, it’s worth it. In Caraval the world-building, magic, and mind games are so smart and interesting TBH. It focuses more on fantasy. Personally I love Once Upon a Broken Heart more because it focuses on romance before fantasy and it a perfect blend of romance and fantasy. The characters were amazing, and their backstories made it even more interesting haha. Caraval is romance fantasy, OUABH is romantasy. Hope that helps!!!!!

Well, you should read caraval first before reading OUABH. but it does not spoil Caraval in a bad way. You will get to know some backstories of the characters. Do not worry, you will still enjoy it.

Once I got to ouabh I was glad to have read Caraval but I’m a sucker for a prequel anything, I really enjoyed both but ouabh was definitely tops for me!
