"Where every story comes to Life"

I'm looking for 5-10 avid and detail-oriented beta readers who love easter eggs, slow-burn character arcs, multi-book emotional payoffs, and gritty non-escapist fantasy where the good guy doesn't always get the girl or ride off into the sunset.
If that's you, I'd love your feedback on The Hearthwood Oak (Book One of The Brytewood Chronicles, complete at 56,000 words)!
This is not escapist fantasy.
The Brytewood Chronicles is a young adult fantasy series that abandons the comforts of magical solutions and fleeting triumph. It's a raw, honest journey through the realities of trauma, loss, and the scars that shape us. Instead of easy victories, these stories linger in the aftermath—where pain is not solved but endured, and healing comes at a cost.
Set in a richly imagined world marked by ancient burdens and mystical callings, the series follows young people forced to confront the consequences of their choices and the demands of their destinies. Faith, friendship, and family anchor the journey, illuminating the ways calling, humility, and sacrifice carve paths through brokenness—and teach us what it means to heal and belong.
It has a Chronicles of Narnia/Lord of the Rings feel while exploring the gritty emotions of a growing family navigating impossible choices.
Book One follows the Brytewood family—a father haunted by war, a healer mother, and their children who discover they're guardian-bearers for a dying sacred tree. When corruption spreads through their valley and three ancient acorns must be gathered to restore the barrier between worlds, this ordinary family must become extraordinary.
It's super low pressure—if you get bored or lost in the middle, please feel free to drop off. That kind of feedback is really helpful for trimming and pacing!
This book is the first of seven planned books in the series, and I'd love for you all to help me make it possible.
Would love to hear your thoughts :) Please feel free to message me here to coordinate. Thanks!
