Gunhild Drage Hi!
If you love Jane Austen, Gail Carriger, Terry Pratchett and/or Lyn Gala, do you have other favourites in a similar vein? I'm looking for sci fi, fantasy and/or romance with low angst, lots of humour and keen skills in the observation of human behaviour. I don't know how to search for these properties elsewhere.

Georgette Heyer was a prolific writer & some of her historical/Georgian romances are very funny.

Gunhild Drage Yeah, she's great! I've read all her books.

Ritu Aww that's such a lovely read of all the human emotions, stands the tempests of time.

Evergreen read.

Tina Mason If you like Jane Austen's wit, romance, and social commentary, you might love:
Jane Eyre- gothic vibe and strong female lead
Wuthering Heights- dark romance, classic drama
Little Women- family dynamics and coming-of-age feels
