I stopped reading them when the small print caused too much eyestrain. I tried the digital version once or twice but it just didn’t feel right.
The magazine that I had subscribed to the longest was Analog SF/Science Fact

The only SF magazine available from Glasgow Libraries is SFX, so I'll download the latest copy of that to check it out.
Apart from SFX, in the UK so far I've only found Interzone - a digital copy works out at about £6 per month, but they have a free online sister version that publishes some stories so I may investigate it further before taking out a paid subscription.
Asimov's Science Fiction seems to only be available via KU in the UK so that's ruled out for me.
Another option might be Analog Science fiction & fact digital copy at $6 every couple of months; again I might buy one digital copy to try it out first.
Does anyone have any other suggestions or preferences? Or are SF magazines largely a thing of the past?

Betsy, I think I first became a fan of short fiction because when I was in my early teens I devoured anthologies and magazines, mainly of horror and Sci Fi.

I have subscribed in the past to Analog but found I wasn't reading them quickly enough, I have also read a few copies of Asimovs', Fantasy & Science Fiction and Interzone. I read a lot more short fiction 40 years ago not so much these days.Great places to discover new Authors these magazines.
i used to read Fantasy & Science Fiction magazine on my kindle. i stopped though because i got like months behind. they were good short stories but i had many books i wanted to read as well. same reason i gave up my reader's digest subscription.
Thanks for the feedback - suspect that I might be like Paul and Kay Dee, and fall behind on my reading, which is why I'm still keen to take out a "trial" issue before committing to a full subscription.

Do others in the group still read SF magazines, which ones, and in printed format or PDF/online?
I'm thinking of at least trying one or two (and I must check if my library has any available among their onine magazine subscriptions).
