Have you ever picked up a book expecting not to like it and ended up loving it? I feel like those experiences make reading so much more exciting because it reminds you how unpredictable books can be. What’s a book that completely changed your expectations for better or worse?

The Hunger Games

Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte was such a book for me.

I didn't expect the level of daily violence that apparently was a norm amongst Yorkshire farmers and even local gentry , in 18th century; and I also didn't anticipate the twists and turns of a tragic love story between a gentle lady and a lowly man- the whole spectrum of the latter was shown- from the exquisite subtlety to forceful deadly passion.

A book everyone should read :))
