If you could go back years what would you change in your life. I personally probably have too many to mention, but I would have taken school more serious. I would not have moved back to my hometown after getting out of the military. I would have waited till I was financially stable before getting married and starting a family. I would never have taken up smoking and would have consumed less alcohol. I guess this could go on forever!

Amanda Bhear | 249 comments Thank you for you service. Like you said there are too many to list off. Maybe if I had been a little tougher in school the other kids would have left me alone.

Kellie | 240 comments There are a lot of things I think I would change in my life. One of the things that I might have changed would be not living in the same state as my in-laws. Need to be further away so they can't keep taking advantage of my husband. It has caused a lot of problems over the years.

Geraldine | 13 comments I don't regret things from my past. I refuse to beat up on myself knowing that I always did the best that I could at the time.

That true Geraldine, but a “what if” post really makes me think.

Scout (goodreadscomscout) | 118 comments I'm with you, Geraldine. You can't change the past but hopefully you can learn from it. Wishing you had done something differently is a waste of time and energy.

Candy (ceeemvee) | 65 comments My mother-in-law, a very wise woman, told me to live without regrets. She said if you consider your options carefully, and make a sound decision, live with it. You don’t know how things will turn out, but believe it was the best decision you could have made at the time.

That's great advice!

Amanda Bhear | 249 comments I agree. Noboy's perfect & there are bound to be mistakes along the way. Since you can't redo it, there's no use dwelling on them.
