Goodreads is making two changes to Librarian tools:
1. We’re removing the Show Metadata tab on the Book Edit page. This is sparsely populated, and not used in any features. Removal of this tab won’t impact the ability of Librarians to perform any other edits.
2. As of Nov. 17, Super-librarians will no longer have the ability to promote or demote shelves to genres. We’re making this change to improve consistency in what appears under individual genres on Goodreads. If you have a genre you’d like added to Goodreads, please search ideas on Goodreads Help for an existing request to upvote, or post a new one for consideration by the team.
