I have updated my pen name to avoid confusion with another author. I tried updating my author page to my new pen name and it says a librarian must do it.

My former pen name was Tara West. My new pen name is T.D. West. All my books have been updated how do I go about changing my name on my author page?

Your name cannot be changed. I have added it to the new books.

How to I activate that author dashboard and setup that author page?

That name is no longer and should no longer be associated with those books. They have new ISBNs and new covers. T.D. West is all anyone should see. How do we get rid of the older. It is correct on Amazon.

I'd just like to delete this old author dashboard account if the name can't be changed and just create a brand new one. So what is best method to secure the new name.

The books will continue to be associated with the name under which they were originally published, as those books still exist. If you wish to abandon or transfer your author profile, you will need to contact support.
