I’m looking for a book I read a couple of years ago.
This is what I remember a bit disjointed but Here’s what I can remember of it:
The book is set in the U.K., most likely England.
Theres a split POV of the husband and wife. It is not a detective book, though they play a role in the search.
It is a standalone. It’s not part of an ongoing police series, so it’s not book 4 or 7 in “DI whatshisface” series.
The husband doesn’t get along with his brother. His brother is a gruff silent farmer type. He doesn’t feature much in the book though.
It is revealed The wife had previously had an affair with her brother in law, who is a farmer/ owns a farm.
The husband discovers this when he becomes suspicious of his brother and searches his house and finds a picture of his wife in lingerie on his brothers bed.
