🎀The story starts with a teenage girl who woke up lost beside a road. Her body aches so much, and she can't even open her eyes. But she needs to get out wherever she is, but when she stumbles around in the middle of the road, the police car comes her way. Now, a police officer found her and brought her to a precinct to investigate. Mr. Bowman, who investigates her and asks questions like what's her name, where she came from, her family background, etc., but she doesn't remember anything. So while Mr. Bowman is asking her some questions, a man knocks on the door asking for his daughter that is missing. Mr. Bowman asks the man what her daughter looks like and all, and it matches the teenage girl who lost consciousness in the forest. So when Mr. Bowman introduces the girl to the man, the man claims her to be his missing daughter. The man, who is also named Mr. Wayne, says that her name is Mary Ellen Boone and he is her father. Is he the father of Mary? Or is Mary even her real name?

📚This is dual POV, and the first chapter is the female main character's POV, and the next chapter would be another character's POV that is part of the story. Although this is dual POV, I did not feel confused or wonder what the story is all about. The story still runs smoothly, and the more chapters I read, the more secrets are uncovered, and I think that's what makes the story more interesting.
