Strange issue but having added a new book the author surname is in all caps. I thought it was just me mistyping but no matter how I try to correct it the author surname reverts to all caps. I tried removing the author and saving, changing the name to 123, saving and re-editing but it just reverts.

I don't just want someone to fix it, I want to know how to fix it and if possible why it happened.

Were you trying to change author name by editing book page?
It needed to be fixed on author page.

Yes, I was adding the book so I added author name too and it kept changing to caps. Seems strange that it did that but thanks for fixing it.

It was picking up the capitalisation from the author page.

And if it were a claimed profiile you just send a message to Support for them to fix it. You have to make sure the shelf display name is changed too.
