ann liang got me out of my slump. i read if you could see the sun and i loved it so much i ended up reading all her other books in one sitting in like a day cause they were just that addicting and theyre also really short too like 200 300 pages ish only!
Crave by Tracy Wolff got me out of my slumpI also like Jennifer L Armentrout's YA Luc and Origins, and Dark Elements and Harbinger. They are full of romantic tension and banter, aren't heavy reads, but are enjoyable.
I would recommend a YA book or something easy to read that just has good vibes- like maybe a Christmas romance (Hallmark movie feels). 🩷First Time Caller by BK Borrison was cute and was a retelling of Sleepless in Seattle.
🩷Direbound by Sable Sorensen was so good and gave Fourth Wing vibes but with wolves.
🩷Ready Player One by Ernest Cline will give you 80’s nostalgia but has lots of action and
🩷Powerless by Lauren Robert’s is a YA Romantacy that was a fun and fast read.
🩷I am currently reading Kissed on Christmas and it’s a cute novella about a librarian that gets snowed in with a mysterious man that is also a Yeti haha It’s by Reina Everhart.
Hope you find something to enjoy!
Cheers 📚
📕The Spellshop: super cute slow burn. Romance, fantasy, a warm hug 📗Mistborn Trilogy: a super epic fantasy. will take you to another world
📘Heartstopper: a fast read! adorable romance (adapted into a netflix series)
i feel like most contemporary romances will do the job because they're so fast paced and don't require much brain-power LOL. Maybe something like Better Than the Movies, the Made series, or anything Ali Hazelwood.
Spy School! :) fast pace and funny series for teenagers, but adults also may love it. it's a perfect book to read in 1 or 2 days. + it has a slow burn love motive
Why not give my supernatural thriller a go. I think you’ll like it. It’s called ‘Kissed by the Devil. I’d love to know what you think of it.
Hey everyone!. If you're looking for your next read and wanted a book which will help to get out reading slump, you should seriously consider picking up "The Sweetest Fault." It's a story that completely hooked me from the very beginning. The characters were so well-developed and relatable, I felt like I knew them personally. The plot had so many unexpected twists and turns, I couldn't put it down. I found myself staying up way too late just to see what would happen next. It's definitely one of those books that stays with you long after you've finished the last page. Trust me, you won't regret giving this one a shot.

Please recommend me books that I can get through quickly to get back into the habit <3
