Leah Willemsen | 3 comments Hey everyone! I’m hoping to find some people who read similar books that would maybe want to buddy read occasionally or just chat about books in general. I read all sub genres of fantasy, some sci-fi and love dystopian as well. All of my friends who read do not read fantasy, so I have no one to talk to my books with!

Take a look at my profile to see my taste! I am a millennial (36 y/o), so I tend to read more adult fantasy, but still enjoy YA too.

L | 1 comments Hi everyone! I love books where the story centers around a compelling female protagonist. If you’ve read anything with a great mix of magic, adventure, and romance, I’d be so happy to hear your recommendations!

Have you read the Mistborn Trilogy? It's my favorite series and includes everything you mentioned! It's a high fantasy and there's politics involved but the storyline is super compelling.

I'd also recommend 'Belladonna' and 'Daughter of the Deep'

Leah Willemsen | 3 comments I absolutely agree with Mistborn Era 1 (I haven’t gotten to Era 2 yet). It is one of my all time favorites now.

A little more cliche, but I also REALLY love Crescent City, every single one of them! It is by far SJM’s best series in my opinion.

A totally underrated duology is Threads that Bind if you’re okay with YA. Super unique and I haven’t read another one like it. I wish this one would get the hype it deserves.

I love unique stories. Alice in Wonderland was my favorite growing up, so anything that is super unique and different usually hits hard for me.
