I read the summary of All the Sinners Bleed and it feels like a mixing pot filled with ingredients that don’t play nice together. I had no wait at the library so I have this queued up. Also, last month’s Lisa Jewell book became available this week so I have a lot of reading to do!
During this surgical recovery I have been finding it very difficult to focus on books, which is not at all what I expected. Therefore my reviews might take longer than my usual time. But I will get there.
Happy Holiday Season

This will be the first S.A. Cosby novel I read (three of them on my want-to-read list, I guess I missed out on King of Ashes earlier this year), so I'm looking forward to getting introduced to Cosby's writing and characters and hoping for a good Criminal Minds-esque story.

Did you already have surgery? I thought it wasn't until Jan 20.

Aahh. The other post said 1/20.
Hope recovery is going smoothly (aside from decreased focus on books)

Before you begin, what are you expecting from this tense, character-driven story? Are you anticipating sharp social commentary, a gripping mystery, or a blend of both?
