Doctor Who: The Library of Carsus discussion

I have been embarking in a read through of all the DW novels in order by series. So far I am up to The Roundheads in the PDAs, just finished Kursaal in the EDAs and Winner Takes All in the NSAs. I am also on the virgin ones but have stalled about a quarter of the way through the last Timewyrm book as I have no idea what is happening.

That should keep you busy for awhile.

Yeah, Timewyrm gets credit for starting the new adventures series, but it's not a great story.

Keep wanting to catch up on the 7th and the 8th Doctor books, but both are so daunting.

Was hoping it would lead to a UNIT series.

About 40% of the way through The Face of the Enemy. Actually finding it a bit slow.. and no sign of the doctor yet either which isnt helping.

Just got the Deviant Strain at a book sale.
Have to let me know if it's worth moving higher up my to be read pile.

The lack of Doctor is what made 'Face of the enemy' appeal to me.
I like seeing stories about what UNIT and companions do to handle things when he's not around.
