Holy Moly was this book ever AMAZING!!! I had to read it and get it done so I'll wait for others before posting many comments. (view spoiler)
I will say that this book is BEAUTIFULLY written. It's lyrical, poetic, the prose is amazing, it held my interest and I was 100% engaged even at any point I got confused. I just had to re-read those parts to make sure I understood it.
And praises to the narrators of the audiobook. All of the narrators were excellent and helped me to understand the book; however, I don't think I would've done as well comprehending had I only used the audiobook. I'm not a great auditory learner.
Thanks for the recommendation, Trisha!
I think I should've done the audiobook from the sounds of it. I did the written version and had to keep taking breaks. I think it's because I just can't keep attention span on jumping around things sometimes. I gave it a 3 because I think it's a good book for most people but oh man I struggled. I had to read a little, and go find something else, and then back again.
I think that is a good assessment, Anna. I had both and I think that really helped me. Without the written version, I think I would’ve gotten confused by the audiobook alone. And I think that just like you, I might’ve had more difficult time with just the e-book or printed version and probably not enjoyed it nearly as much as I did.
