Mary Lens | 1 comments If you are searching for a story that pulls you in from the first chapter and refuses to let go, Escape from Media is one you should not pass by. I read it recently and was honestly surprised by how quickly I became attached to Malin, Ellie, and Will. This book is not just another dystopian fantasy. It has real emotional depth, high tension, and a world that feels alive in a way that stays with you long after you close the book.

The blend of danger, forbidden magic, and slow-burn romance is beautifully done. What I loved most is how the story balances intense stakes with moments of vulnerability and hope. The mother-daughter bond is powerful, and Will’s quiet strength and complicated past make him a character you cannot help but root for. If you enjoy found family, strong female leads, and stories where love and loyalty are tested at every turn, this one will speak to you the way it did to me.

Fans of Serpent and Dove, Red Queen, An Ember in the Ashes, and even The Hunger Games will feel right at home, but Escape from Media still manages to feel fresh and original. It is the kind of book that reminds you why you love this genre in the first place.
