A brand new year means a brand new rhythm! In 2026, our readathons will look a little different than they did in 2025. We’ll be hosting fewer readathons overall—but each one will be packed with fresh, creative themes and optional reading tasks to make them more fun and flexible for everyone.
Our 24-Hour Readathons will also have a new twist: they’ll pop up as special “Get-to-Know-Your-Mod” editions, each one spotlighting a different moderator. It’s your chance to learn more about the people behind the scenes while racing through your TBR.
And of course—because no HOB readathon would be complete without them—you’ll still be able to earn badges for participating.
So whether you’re here for the thrill of a weekend sprint, the comfort of a cozy theme, or the fun of collecting badges, 2026 promises readathons with personality, purpose, and plenty of pages.
