I have a few but the one I’m focusing on right now is Loving the Tormentor by Lola King. Anyone else reading this?

I'm currently 32% in with Pshycotic Obsession by Leigh Rivers and I'm not loving it. I really hope it gets better because the Edge of Darkness is my favorite dark romance

I’m currently reading kings of anarchy that’s a why choose the other two previous books of this trilogy were really good but I think it’s just never ending now tho.

Im loving it so far! about 220 pages in.

Currently reading Evil Boys by Clarissa Wild. It has that dark academia college feel to it, some mafia and murder vibes, and it's pretty damn spicy.

I have a question that’s been bothering me since I finished God of Fury yesterday. I was excited and went to tell my sister about it — big mistake. She told me that books like that “aren’t real books,” that they’re just stories.

But… isn’t that the whole point? Books are stories. When I read them, it feels like I’m stepping into another life, living in a different world for a while. That feeling is so real to me.

When I asked her what she considers “real” books, she said classics and poetry. And while I respect that, I don’t think that’s the only thing that counts as literature.

I guess what I really want to know is — does anyone else ever feel judged because of the kinds of books they read?

hi sibel, no one should be judged. people have different imaginations and fantasies. everyone is different. we all want experiences however we get them.

GUYS, I NEED HELP 😭 Does anyone remember this book where there’s a detective hunting a killer… only for the girl to be the murderer the entire time? And he has absolutely no idea that the person he’s chasing is right in front of him? It’s driving me insane. His name starts on M if that helps.

Never mind, found it in my read books. Turns out I already read The Risk by S.T. Abby — good thing I forgot everything because I’m about to read it again. And yes, I 100% recommend it to everyone.🤪

I don’t know, I just love a man who’s obsessed and loyal. 😩 The way dark-romance men worship their woman/men makes me melt every single time.

yes, many women describe it that way- that he will do anything for her turns them on

women have told me they find hard these days to find strong man IRL i think thats why so many of these MMCs are so alpha and macho.

They don’t exist at this point. We stopped looking, we rather read about them now.😂😂

yeah i know women tell me that. but theres still a few of us out there ha!

some interesting recent surveys: ages 23-35 sexlessness surging, only 1% have had hookup. 2/3 single men want committed relationship, only 1/3 women. 34% women happier single. men were told by feminists they wanted man to show his 'feminine' side- yet all these MMCs are macho- age gap, single dads, bosses, mafia, stalkers etc. men and women have switched sex roles. women were once considered the romantics.
