I think I was most interested to see how putting a bunch of people on a space ship would work. I mean I didn't know at the beginning that there was going to be a whole city of people living on the ship while it traveled 300 years to a new planet. You would think that they would have had the engine technology worked out before they sent a ship on that sort of mission.
This setting was one of my favorite parts of this book, I really liked seeing how the society worked on the ship
