Manga Book Club discussion

Hey guys I’m Parker and I am very new to reading/ watching manga and I am very happy to find something I like which is anime/manga I a pretty intimidated joining this group but I want to make some friends so I’m just saying hi

Also do you have any anime/ manga recommendations

Hi Parker! I'd totally recommend Yona of the Dawn if you're into fantasy, buddy daddies if you're into anime spy x family, also if detective stories are what you're into then you should really consider watching Moriarty the patriot, bungo stray dogs, death note and Apothecary diaries. Though the apothecary diaries is more of an ancient Chinese mystery setting, the characters are still so well written and plot of the investigations is so well thought of! Hope that helped! Also, if you like action, demon slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen but there are also underrated gems like devil may cry even if that series is more of an American animation that looks like an anime. But if you're into total unhinged fantasy action then watch Castlevania (also an American animation that looks like an anime, possibly like Attack on titan but so much better) Sorry if I yapped too much :)

I saw that on your bio. It's why I gave you so many recommendations on detective stories since the spy x family manga has a foundation of spies and investigations. but if it's the wholesome interactions between the family that you're most interested in because they're honestly the best kind of fan service, then you'd definitely definitely love buddy daddies.

We run a monthly Book of the Month read and bi-monthly Anime Watch so if you ever need any ideas, feel free to tag along and read those/watch them :) I put polls up every month for each so people vote and that's how we decide. I've found some great series through both of those so highly recommend tagging along if you can! (A great place to look for manga for the reads is your local library!!)
