For this month I chose This: Use a random letter generator and pick a book with that letter in the title. My random letter generator pick was 'G', so I read Great Circle by Maggie Shipstead. This was a novel that even though it dealt with two sets of individuals across two different timeframes, still had an epic feel to it. Covered a lot of ground and themes, most notably many biases women have faced over the years (in this case in aeronautics and Hollywood), as well as the (informal) class system in the US. The historical fiction aspects with real people were fun, and the author did a nice job of weaving everything together (including some unexpected twists). 4 1/2 stars.

I chose This and my letter was: M so I read What Moves the Dead. Whelp, the twist in this was not what I was expecting but it gave Bluebeard vibes. It was also kind of kooky, haha.
