Elizabeth (elizabethlk) | 379 comments I'm definitely going to be paying attention to suggestions for this one, I'd love to read more stuff from d/Deaf authors. The first one that comes to mind for a recommendation is Mooncakes by Suzanne Walker, art by Wendy Xu.

I have a stack of things on my tbr that would work for this, so I'm definitely leaning towards reading one of those. True Biz by Sara Nović, The Words in My Hands by Asphyxia, and Show Me a Sign by Ann Clare LeZotte are all novels on my tbr. Deaf Republic by Ilya Kaminsky and The Perseverance by Raymond Antrobus are both poetry collections from my tbr. Being Seen: One Deafblind Woman's Fight to End Ableism by Elsa Sjunneson, Haben: The Deafblind Woman Who Conquered Harvard Law by Haben Girma, and Mean Little Deaf Queer: A Memoir by Terry Galloway are all memoirs from my tbr.
