Elizabeth (elizabethlk) | 379 comments This is an area that I definitely want to be exploring more in. My current top contenders are probably Like Water for Chocolate by Laura Esquivel, Daughter of Fortune by Isabel Allende, Pedro Páramo by Juan Rulfo, Bless Me, Ultima by Rudolfo Anaya, Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel García Márquez, The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón, The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov, and Family Lore by Elizabeth Acevedo. It's pretty open though, my experience with magical realism has been limited.

Melissa A | 25 comments I loved The Night Circus Erin Morgenstern, so I’m planning to read The Starless Sea for this prompt.
