2025 is not quite over, and I'm getting ready for 2026. I'll do things more simply this year, because I tried to have a precise plan for 2025, and it failed miserably. I had a "personnal curiculum" for my reading challenge, but I'm a mood reader, so it flopped. It's back to the tried and true method for 2026! The method being : no plan, just fun!

Here are my reading goals:
--> read 29 books (I've read above 30 books he last few years, but I like to put fewer books as my reading goal, just in case I have a rotten year).
--> read 8 500 pages (a bit more than last year, but still do-able)
--> read at least a book a month, even if it's just a manga or a graphic novel.
--> read Emma by Jane Austen : it's my last unread Austen book (I don't count juvenalia).
--> lean into the fantasy and sci-fi genre (no set number goal, we'll see how it goes)
--> prioritise the books I already own and the library. I'm not going on a book buying ban, but my bookshelves are already overflowing, so...

I'm planing for a nice and relaxed 2026. I can always come back and change my plans if the mood strikes!
