We are in the process of setting up the challenges for 2026. Please be patient. It will take days to get this finalized. Once the annual challenges are finalized, there will be an update shared in the News and Announcements thread.

1) Challenges begin on January 1. There will be no trackers this year; so if you like to keep track, you will need to do it on your computer/tablet or paper. You can also set up a Goodreads bookshelf for each challenge and keep track of them there.

2) Be sure and go to the beginning of the thread for each challenge to get the specific instructions.

3) Challenges are meant to be fun. Sign up for the ones that interest you. You do NOT have to do every challenge. Choose the challenges that fit into your schedule.

4) If you would prefer not to do any, that is perfectly fine too.

5) There are several forms of books- audiobooks, ebooks and the good old bound book :)- they all "count towards your challenge.” A book is a book, there is no minimum number of pages necessary for it to count towards your challenges.

6) Crossovers are allowed meaning you can use the same books for different challenges, however you cannot use the same book twice for the same challenge. (One exception- The Alphabet Challenge - a book can count twice in the challenge if you are playing more than one list).

7) You can join in the reading challenges at any time when it is a year long challenge, e.g- "the electronic book challenge", etc. The year long challenges are set up to start Jan 1- Dec 31st. So if you join in April, but already read something towards the challenge in February, it still counts.

8) If you want to change your level on a challenge (either up or down) during the year, that is definitely all right.

10) If you need help, just ask. Any of the moderators or our members are wonderful with helpful tips.

11) There are many of the challenges where it's really up to you and your discretion if it meets the criteria of the challenge or not. Again feel free to ask a moderator or a member if you have a question.

15) The Moderators would also respectfully ask that if you are posting a book that doesn't meet the guidelines of our group in terms of including explicit sexual scenes or profanity that you just mention it when you post the book such as - (secular read, or profanity, "not for everyone" ,etc and please do not link it). Remember this is a Christian fiction group, so clean reads are what our members are looking for.

Happy Reading!
