Play Book Tag discussion

Mad works an organic farm that she made successful with her mom after her dad left them when she was a kid. Her life is a bit lonely, not wanting to be left again, but the farm needed her. Then a preppy out of place guy, Rub, arrives in rural Tennessee in a PT Cruiser and upends her life. Her father was his father before he left him in Boston and their father continued west with at least 2 more families. Rub convinces Mad to join him on a cross country road trip to find their other siblings and possibly their dad at the end.

Wilson has a way of bringing outsiders together to feel a bit less alone in such a lovely way. This one was no exception and gave all the feels. I loved the found family made out of real family and the awkwardness of road trip forming tight bonds quite quickly as each sibling shares the story of their dad, each dad mostly a different version from the last one. The narrator is the same as Nothing to See Here and she really adds to voice and the characters.
