These tips are here to make things smoother for everyone. Clear posts, clear labels, and a little patience go a long way.

• Formatting Matters: Use basic HTML (bold, italics, spoilers, line breaks) to keep posts readable. Long walls of text are harder for others to engage with.

• Use Spoilers Properly: Any sensitive, intense, or NSFW-adjacent content must be hidden using (view spoiler), especially if it involves triggers or darker themes.

• Label Your Content: Always include trigger warnings at the top of posts when needed (violence, heat/rut, trauma, dark themes). It helps everyone feel safer and more prepared.

• Keep Links Safe: Avoid posting suspicious or shortened links. If you’re unsure, don’t post it.

• Images & Face Claims: Keep images appropriate and within Goodreads size limits. If something is borderline, hide it in spoilers or don’t post it at all.

• Don’t Overuse Emojis: A little is fine, but spamming emojis, gifs, or stickers makes threads harder to follow.

• Be Mindful of Time Zones: Not everyone replies instantly. Slow replies aren’t disinterest — just life happening.

• Editing Posts: If you need to fix formatting or typos, editing is fine. If you’re changing major plot details, let your RP partner know.

• Quoting & Replies: When replying in busy threads, quoting a line or tagging the person helps avoid confusion.

• Save Your Work: Goodreads can lag or refresh. Draft longer posts elsewhere first so nothing gets lost.

• If Something Breaks: Goodreads isn’t perfect; if formatting glitches or posts disappear, let a mod know instead of panicking.
