POST #2How to Participate:
1. Post here telling the challenge leader how many books you plan to read.
You may choose your books at the beginning, or add them as you go. You may join any time during the year, and may change your goal whenever needed.
2. When you finish books for the challenge, edit your original post or member’s corner thread to add them.
Instructions are in the how-to link below.
3. To have your progress updated, post a new comment here to let the challenge leader know.
Every time you post an update, be sure to include your original (sign-up) message number, the number of books you have completed, and your goal. We use your original message number to identify you, since multiple members may have the same profile name.
Example:
Update to message 32: 2/25 books read!
For more information about how our challenges work, visit this how-to thread or ask your challenge leader.
P.S. Please do not delete posts! It changes the message numbers, complicating the update process for both leaders and participants. If you wish to leave the challenge, simply post a comment here to let us know. You may edit your original post to say {deleted}. Thank you!

Instead of focusing on the number of books you read, start focusing on the number of pages you turn!
Getting Started
1. Make a goal of the number of pages you aim to read and let the challenge leader know. Also post that goal in your original sign-up post.
2. Do your best to reach that goal by the end of 2026. Please note that you can always raise or lower your goal to accommodate your personal circumstances.
3. There’s no need to plan out all your books in advance. Just be sure to keep track of the books you read and their page count.

Please track your ongoing progress in your original sign-up post (or your linked Member’s Corner post), adding up your total pages read. Use the format below:

FAQs
* If GoodReads doesn’t show a page count for your edition (as with audiobooks), simply use the page count of the most popular non-audiobook edition.
* Rereads also count for this challenge, but you need to read the entire book. No skimming!
* Has your progress not been updated on the Participants list? Please note that I will not be checking your original posts. When you post an update comment, include both your message number and progress (not just your message number). Also check to make sure that your original post includes your total progress using the “pages read/pages pledged” format (this is just for backup).
*If you change your Goodreads name, please let the challenge leader know via an update comment or by a direct message, only so we can keep your progress updated accurately
