Dragonsi | 2 comments I was looking for the "Can you help identify this book" section but could not find it so I will use this instead. I remember 2 different series, most likely in the mid '90s, Young Adult Horror, and Sci Fi, even though I was in my 20s then, and 40s now, I still enjoy YA books.

First series YA Horror: There was a set of 12 books, 1 for each month of the year, Jan to Dec, and it was a typical teen horror type, killing them off 1 by 1, I believe in a high school setting, circa 1993-98. I was waiting for the last book before starting the series but it came out very late compared to the first 11 and I lost them moving around over the years and never read the series.

2nd series: YA Sci Fi: About 7-8 older teens-early 20s are in space on a space station. Something happens to Earth and they can't go home, and they are that's left of the human race. 1 female scientist dies at the end of book 1, sacrificing herself by stepping in a pool of water and getting electrocuted in order to seal a door up in time. I never read the follow up books in that series. Circa mid 90s.

If someone can identify these, I can re-buy them on Ebay again. I would also be interested in buying "The Blackwater" 6 part series from Avon in the early '80s.

Dragonsi | 2 comments How many 12 part horror series are there? Let alone each book has a month's name in the title?

Not sure if you are talking about the goodreads group called "what's the name of that book?" But if you haven't tried them, they've found some really obscure books for me!
