Jackie, as long as the book meets our general CFD criteria of books that do not have explicit sex or profanity, you may suggest them to see if anyone wants to join in a Buddy Read with you. That said, I find that books published by the popular Christian authors and the main Christian publishing houses are more likely to be of interest for a Buddy Read.
HTH and please let me know if there are any more questions!

with me on January 4th?"Michelle, I would love to read this with you, but it looks like I can't get it for a few months through Libby and no interlibrary loans yet because it's a new book.
Carole, you can get Lost blue Mountain with Hoopla. My book above if interested is free on Audible right now.

Thank you Carole for wanting to read this with me. What do you recommend we do?
Jackie, thanks for the tip about Hoopla. I've had other people tell me a book was on Hoopla, yet it wasn't there when I searched, so I've learned that source varies from state to state. And I mainly read drama, women's fiction, etc. - not suspense. I love a good murder mystery that details the police investigation, but not the scary stuff.Michelle, I don't want to hold you back, so don't wait on me. However, I've wanted to try this author for a long time and feel sure I would love her books. If you want to try another one of hers, or something similar, I'll try to find it.
Yes to either one of those, Michelle. I can get both on Hoopla or wait 2 weeks for The Sound of Rain on Libby. I love Appalachian settings and can't believe I haven't read this author before now.
If you want to do both, we can do the Sound of Rain on January 11 and the other on January 31. I'm flexible on the dates. Whatever works best for you. Let me know if you only want to read one.
As a daily Bible reader, I am wanting to get the most out of my time in the Word and deepen my studying this year. Kicking off a new year of reading with
. If anyone is interested in joining me, I'm planning to start 01/01 and closing the window 01/31.
Michelle, we can start with The Sound of Rain around January 11 like you suggested. I've requested it and expect it to be available by then or before. I'm looking forward to reading this with you.

"Crystal, I'd like to read this with you. It's been a long time since I read one of Omartian's books and she's a great author.
Crystal and Carole, do you want me to set up 30 Days to Becoming a Woman of Prayer for you starting tomorrow?

Okay, great! Yes, I really enjoy her!
Kate wrote: "Crystal and Carole, do you want me to set up 30 Days to Becoming a Woman of Prayer for you starting tomorrow?"Yes please! Thanks Kate! And happy New Year! :)
Sorry Kate! I usually try to post things in one thread. I saw
on Stacis feed (thanks Staci!), and after looking through it, am starting
. Wondering if anyone is interested in starting it with me? Kate, I'm thinking if anyone is interested in continuing in February, we could just open a new thread for Februarys reading in the Februarys Buddy reading? Would that be okay?*The One Year Guide is different than the Study Guide. The Study Guide is available on Libby and Hoopla but is not the same thing. I didn't find the One Year Guide on my Libby or Hoopla. From what I compared, I thought there was a slight difference in the actual Bible Recap Bible and the commentary provided in the One Year Guide, but I think it's similar enough it would match for the Buddy Read if anyone is interested.
TBH, if you find someone to join you for a year-long Buddy Read, I will just mark it as such. Since all of the Buddy Reads throughout the year are hosted from this section, there's no need to repost a thread for the same book each month. 🙂
