I am really trying to make an effort to have you recommend books to me for nominations in future group reads. For example, James sent me a recommendation by e-mail so I will put it in for the next group read vote. Below are the new books that are in so far for May to June. If you would like to nominate an author who is published by a large publisher and gets about 200 reviews on Kindle or Goodreads, you can e-mail them to me or put them in Underrated writers section and I will review them as well. Here are the new books so far.

Actually, you had nominated Fay Kellerman on the Bookshelf for a popular group read which I will consider in the future. I would like to see more members post popular books there and if there is enough interest, we can consider books on that section for a group read as well. In any case, you can use this book there instead of Mercedes Coffin if you want.

SHE IS A FAVORITE AUTHOR.
Never read anything by her. Will check her out at some point.
Doesn't look like it's available on Kindle or Nook. I still would like to have a bigger publishing house also such as HarperCollins, William Morrow, Simon and Schuster, St. Martin's Press, Thomas & Mercer, and Poison Penn Press, just to name a few.
Keep the recommendations coming. Check out the Underrated Writers section also and feel free to put recommendations in there also. You can also go through the showcase folders to see the other writers that are in there also.

I saw it on Kindle. I think it's a local publisher; I see a lot of stuff published by them around here.
Sorry about that Audrey. I'm not as computer savvy as I should be. I should have done that next click. I would like to stay with the bigger publishers right now.

Reece Hirsch said that he would like to be in our upcoming vote. Here is a comment from him to all of you.
"Based on the thread with James Church, it looks like you have a very lively and smart group, and I would welcome the opportunity to chat with them."

I have heard from Peter James' agent and she said that it will be an honor for Peter to be in the next vote. Hope that makes all of you feel good.
Excellent choice Kristen. Arcadian Genesis is the 5th in the series though. Would it be better to read the first book in the series in case other people haven't tried this author? Since you're familiar with him, you can answer that question. If you think we can read Arcadian Genesis, then that's fine.
I'll get in touch with Greig Beck and ask him if he wants to participate in the group read. Thanks for the recommendation. Keep them coming.

Greig Beck will join us for the July - August vote. Thanks for the nomination Kirsten.

I would like to have a popular book for a group read in the future. William Kent Kruger can be nominated there since he is a popular author. I'll have him under the bookshelf section when we have enough interest there for a group read. Iron Lake would be a great choice.
For the upcoming nominations here, authors should be chosen who have less than 200 reviews on Kindle or Goodreads.

I would like to read the first one. That being said, I got Arcadian Genesis free and it WAS the prequel.
I'll have it on for July 20-August 20 vote.

. Really good thriller."
This is a great book Debbie. I read it as well but for a nomination here, a book would have to have less than 200 reviews on kindle and/or Goodreads. Feel free to nominate other books though.

Martha Cooley said that she would be very happy to like to join us for a group read of her book if she wins a vote.

Mike Lawson said that he would be happy to join us for a group read if his book wins.
Also, thanks everyone for looking at the showcase boards and nominating the books. I will get in touch with all the authors to see if they will join us for a group read.
I will also start reviewing your e-mails that you sent me regarding recommendations. Sorry I fell behind on those.

Jessica Knoll said she would be happy to be part of a group read with us for her book, Luckiest Girl Alive.
We'll have that book in the vote as well Temple.

Bonnie, it's a good recommendation but for this group, the Kindle reviews shouldn't be more than 200-300. Feel free to recommend other books that fall below that range. Thanks.

Alafair Burke said that she would like to be in upcoming nominations."
Really enjoy the books of hers I've read.
Sounds great Debbie. You can tell her that when she is here for her group read with us from October 20th to November 20th. I'll be anxious to hear your thoughts on Long Gone during our discussion at that time.

Glad to hear it Anne. Much of that depends on the voting. Members can start voting now
Hi Christine. This book can go on the bookshelf. For our group reads, we want to find books that have about 200-300 reviews on Kindle. Sandra Brown is a very popular author with a lot of reviews.
I'm happy to consider a group read at some point for a popular author. I have suggested that we have two group reads for a month. Maybe we can do that at some point if we have enough interest although some people have said they prefer one group read for now.

I should have added that the book should also be published by a large publisher. Feel free to e-mail me other books and I'll be happy to put them up for nomination if they qualify. I'm going to put one in the Underrated authors as an example. You can also look in the showcase folders and see if you would like to nominate one of those books.
