There is much that you don't understand, and it shall all be cleared up.

You, poor soul, have died. And now you're here, in Purgatory. Heaven and Hell couldn't take you; something in your soul in undeserving of either fate. Something you or someone else has done to you has placed you here, and your soul cannot let that go. Hence why you find yourself clutching a paper with a series of numbers in your hand, and a shadow looming over you.

This shadow, however, is your guide. Assigned upon your arrival, they are to guide you through the spheres of Purgatory. We anticipate that you will enjoy your stay.

It has come to our administrative attention that a good deal of the souls are withering.

Whether it be to being unable to figure out the circumstances of their placement in Purgatory, or being stuck in the expanse of landscape with only themselves to marvel at it. In this instance, we have allowed for souls to gather in groups. How they work this out is all their own decisions. They must decide how to work through this thing that is considered their stay.

They have to wise in their choices. Sometimes, solitude may be better.
