Not fav ways to study. If I was a mod, I would tell others about good study methods, and actually do something to help others. This is a place where we get support for school when we are struggling.

The only way to truly learn any college topic is with hardbound textbooks. Follow the syllabus issued by your instructor.

Then buy the books. Usually, someone has already nabbed them from the college library so you buy them. I remember one year I paid $700 for textbooks.

What then? What you do then is this. You turn off the TV (or get rid of it completely) and you start reading, Read like your life depends on it.

You read the first book in the syllabus and pencil your notes in the page margins. Circle-underline-highlite all the books cited.

Then follow each citation to the next book. Follow the trail of references.

Keep a pile of 4"x6" notecards to track everything.

The little room (wherever you study) should have books always spread open, face up, all around the room. During semester, every waking moment (unless eating) you go to that room and cram info into your skull.

Don't use a computer at all. Do everything with print. Why? Because it has been proven for centuries that this is the way the brain absorbs info.

Whereas modern tests continually show that studying by laptop or internet does not ever work. Never.
